o tym co powinnam robic na projekcie

Na podstawie maila z ICYE International Office :P

Hoping you have had a good welcome and settled down well in your respective projects and communities. Please write - we are interested in hearing how you are doing! Tambien puedes escribir en Español si te parece mas facil!

We have already started the work on the documentation of your project and therefore would like to provide you with some information about this part of your project. And of course we would like to encourage you to contribute as much as possible to this work!

The documentation will consist of a final publication with your articles, photos and testimonials, as well as of a video with clips from all volunteers' projects as visual support. Please find here below detailed information about both parts and what is needed from your side:

A) FINAL PUBLICATION: Deadline for sending your contributions: 15th January 2011

We would like to ask you to send us small reports / testimonials from your projects. Please relate your contributions to the following questions:

1. What is your local host project's mission and structure and what is your role?
2. How does a typical day in the project look like for you? Make a description of a normal day at work from your point of view.
3. What is your contribution to the project and what do you learn and gain from this experience?
4. Do you see a link between your volunteer work and the theme of the project: “Young volunteers contributing to combating poverty and social exclusion”? (also referring to the European Year 2010 - please see the respective information here attached).
5. How are you experiencing the culture in your host country compared to the one in your home country and how do you deal with the cultural differences?

Please also send us 3-6 photos with you at the project or in encounters with people in the country - including a brief description of what they are showing! Furthermore in case you have a blog or in case there is an article about you in the local newspaper please make sure to mention that you are a participant of the European Voluntary Service programme (see attachment) and of ICYE (www.icye.org). Please send us any articles or publications in which you appear so they can be included in the documentation.

B) VIDEO:
Volunteers and host organisations (if applicable the mentor) will work together and shoot video clips documenting the project work and experience of each volunteer.
The video documentation should highlight the above mentioned theme and how it links in with your engagement in the local host organisation's and communities. Therefore we have developed a script describing a common part which should be similar for all volunteers as well as some space for your own ideas. In that space you are free to show others what you personally feel is important concerning your project. (Please find the script here attached)

Please note that the responsible of the host coordinating organisation will get in contact with you and the local project to make the arrangements and the planning of the video shooting. The maximum length of unedited video is 10 mins per volunteer. The video will then be cut by professionals here in Berlin and we will hopefully be able to include 1-2 minutes per volunteer.

Equipment: There is a budget to cover rental costs for video equipment if needed. Your host coordinating organisations is informed and will take care of this.
Deadline for sending us your contributions to the video: 1st of February 2011

Andrea, our volunteer from Sweden will be working on the documentation. So if you have any question or need support with certain issues, please contact her.

We are looking forward to receiving your wonderful contributions and we wish you all the best for your EVS and stay in the host country.
